Nursing Supervisor Operating Room Full-Time Days Position Summary

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Supervisor to lead our Operating Room team at Piedmont Medical Center. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of nursing personnel in the Operating Room, ensuring that patients' needs are met and evaluating unit nursing care and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing personnel in the Operating Room, ensuring that patients' needs are met and evaluating unit nursing care and performance.
- Participate in planning work of assigned units and coordinate activities with other patient care units and related departments.
- Plan and organize training for unit staff members and participate in guidance and educational programs.
- Ensure that all nursing personnel are properly trained and equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and services.
Requirements:
- Academic degree in nursing.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a healthcare setting.
