Job Summary

Barry University's Biomedical Sciences (BMS) Master of Science Program in the College of Health and Wellness is seeking a highly qualified individual to teach Histology lecture and lab at the graduate level to students in the BMS degree program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Histology lecture and lab courses in a HyFlex format, utilizing Canvas, Teams, and ExamSoft to manage and deliver the courses.
  • Develop and prepare class materials for graduate-level courses in Histology lecture and lab.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members within and outside the department to develop and execute the course.
  • Assess and grade students enrolled in the Histology lecture and lab courses, submitting grades at the end of the semester.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 13 years of experience in a related field.
  • PhD in Biomedical Sciences or a related field with pertinent specific training in or related to Histology, or an MD/DO professional medical degree.
  • Experience teaching pathology concepts.
  • Advanced experience with preparation of lectures, assignments, and exam materials for teaching purposes.
