Overview:

At Amedisys, we are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in adults.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication skills.
  • Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Current CPR certification.

Preferred:
  • One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology.
