Aviation Technician Position

HireQuest, Inc. is seeking an experienced Aviation Technician to join our team in Miami FL. The ideal candidate will possess an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license and a minimum of 2 years' experience in fixed-wing, rotary, or military aircraft maintenance. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft, often working directly with clients to help them find solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
• Troubleshooting and repairing complex aircraft systems
• Conducting routine inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Performing maintenance tasks, such as replacing components and overhauling engines
• Interpreting mechanical engineering drawings to inform repair decisions
• Communicating effectively with clients and other stakeholders to resolve issues
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess an A&P license, a minimum of 2 years' experience in aircraft maintenance, and strong technical skills. Additionally, they should be proficient in English and able to interpret mechanical engineering drawings. Experience with business aircraft is preferred, as is the ability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled work days and holidays.
