No Prior Pharmacy Experience Necessary
We are seeking an individual with a solid background in customer service, ideally in a retail environment. While previous experience in a pharmacy is advantageous, it is not a requirement for this role.
At Kilgore's Medical Pharmacy, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction with our patients and healthcare partners. We are cultivating a workforce of individuals who are passionate about providing outstanding service and making a positive impact in our patients' lives and the broader community.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, whether collaborating with a team or working independently;
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail;
- Possesses a friendly demeanor;
- Meets high standards for customer service excellence;
- Adapts effectively to changing operational needs;
- Available to work up to 25 hours weekly, including at least one Saturday each month (two preferred) and one or two evenings weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily, deliver EXCEPTIONAL customer service to our clientele;
- Prepare medications and healthcare products for distribution;
- Accurately measure medication dosages in accordance with prescriptions;
- Utilize computer software to process prescriptions;
- Label and document dosage information appropriately;
- Oversee the storage and inventory of medications and supplies;
- Respond to phone inquiries directed to the pharmacy;
- Manage financial transactions;
- Assist customers both in-store and via phone.
Compensation:
Starting pay is $14 per hour, with opportunities for increases as you gain knowledge and skills within the pharmacy. Higher starting wages are available for candidates with prior pharmacy experience.
*We are particularly interested in candidates who are available during daytime hours.*
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience within the last six years is required, with two or more years preferred;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

- Strong organizational capabilities.
