About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wax Inspector to join our team at Howmet Aerospace. As a Wax Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by inspecting cored wax patterns and cores using nondestructive testing (radiography) to discover detrimental discontinuities, inclusions, and other irregularities below the surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
  • Perform visual inspection on all DS and SC wax clusters prior to dipping them into the monoshell slurry, sorting out those requiring rework
  • Must be available to work off shift (2nd, 3rd, and weekend crew)
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of two years work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous industrial x-ray experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and have good communication skills
