Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced taxation professional to join our dynamic Finance team at Jobot in Las Vegas. As a Chief Taxation Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, including tax preparation, planning, compliance, and accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of tax accounting and compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns and ensuring timely submission.
  • Conduct thorough research to stay up-to-date on changing tax laws and regulations, and ensure the company's compliance with these changes.
  • Utilize financial software to prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Develop effective tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize profits.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial data and make strategic financial decisions.
  • Provide expert advice on tax-related matters to the management team and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax manager role or a similar position in the finance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax law, tax accounting, and tax compliance.
  • Proven experience in tax preparation and planning, as well as preparing financial statements.
  • Familiarity with financial software and strong computer skills.
  • Exceptional financial analysis skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make strategic financial decisions.
