About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to spearhead all aspects of the Finance function at Micro-Dyn Medical Systems. As the Head of Financial Operations, you will work closely with the President and Co-Chairman to drive strategic finance and planning, board meeting preparation, FP&A, accounts payable, and other finance-related operations. Initially, you will be a team of one supported by an outsourced accounting service and internal administrative/project management staff, with the opportunity to build out the finance function as we continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Manage accounts payable and other finance-related operations
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team as the company scales

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience in finance-related roles, including some experience in consulting or audit, investment banking, and/or private equity or in strategic finance at a high-growth investor-backed company. A strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics is essential. Experience in software companies is a plus. An undergraduate or equivalent degree is required, and an advanced degree is preferred. CFA or equivalent will be a strong advantage.
