The Director of Quality Operations will play a pivotal role in maintaining Piramal Pharma Solutions' quality procedures and systems to ensure regulatory compliance. As an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the quality unit at the site and ensuring that all quality-related activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system for the site, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA and EMA guidelines, through regular audits and assessments.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the validation and qualification processes for manufacturing equipment and systems, guaranteeing their effectiveness and efficiency.
- Conduct internal and external audits to maintain the highest quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, with at least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality management. A thorough understanding of OSD manufacturing processes and regulations is essential, as is the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
