Daily Responsibilities

Insight Global is in search of a Booking Producer to support a client in the News sector. This role involves securing guests for on-air interviews and reporting to both the head of the booking division and the executive producer of the assigned show. The Booking Producer will engage in outreach and evaluation of potential guests while fostering and maintaining relationships with guests and their representatives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Collaborating with the Executive Producer and team to identify premier guests for broadcast

* Conducting research and outreach to potential guests

* Assisting the team in securing and booking pertinent on-air guests for interviews

* Building and sustaining strong connections with newsmakers, experts, officials, publicists, and other relevant parties

* Acting as the primary liaison for guests and their representatives

* Performing pre-interviews and vetting processes for potential on-air guests

* Confirming logistics for interviews, including scheduling and format of appearances

* Providing guests with topics and areas for discussion during interviews

* Communicating requirements for on-air appearances to guests

* Securing exclusive interviews and content with significant newsmaker guests

* Identifying new and emerging voices as subject matter experts.
