This role is essential for providing clerical support in maintaining precise records for the facility. Given the sensitive nature of this position, discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data entry and manage electronic files.
- Gather and assess all relevant documents related to the legal transfer of individuals.
- Maintain and update records for new arrivals at the facility.
- Prepare and submit required reports regarding the detainee file system and other necessary documentation.
- Perform audits of detainee files in accordance with facility policies.
- Prepare files for the release of detainees.
- Assist in the detainee release process as needed.
- Support facility security, particularly in your area of responsibility, and report any violations or hazards to supervisory staff.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and facility regulations, maintaining strict control over all equipment and supplies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Proven experience in office procedures and clerical tasks.
- Ability to interact professionally in both individual and group settings.
- Capability to collaborate with a team and implement strategic approaches to assignments.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend and execute moderately complex instructions and make decisions based on established rules.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
