We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our mechanical services team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Perform installation and alterations of refrigeration systems and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, utilizing your expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Assist in the preventative maintenance program by following work orders and documenting performed work to ensure operational reliability.
  • Process Optimization: Make necessary adjustments safely during production, ensuring minimal disruption to processes.
  • Electrical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot electrical components using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Lockout/Tag-out Procedures: Utilize lockout/tag-out procedures to ensure safety when isolating equipment.
  • Parts Management: Establish a replacement schedule for parts to minimize disruption to processes, intervening only when safe repairs are not feasible.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in ammonia refrigeration or relevant refrigeration experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication: Good communication skills to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Stability: Stable background and work history are essential for consideration.
