Job Overview
PacifiCorp seeks a highly skilled Energy Forecaster to lead the load forecasting group and present recommendations to management and client organizations regarding sales and revenue forecasts. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and experience with statistical modeling techniques.

About the Role
This is a challenging role that requires critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills. As an Energy Forecaster, you will be responsible for developing techniques to streamline production, analyzing data, and presenting results to stakeholders. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new strategies to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and clients.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop predictive models.
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in analytical work.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, including proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, STATA, or Python.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and demanding targets.

Preferred Qualifications

What We Offer
PacifiCorp offers a competitive salary range of $100,700 - $118,400 annually, depending on experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15.00% of salary. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, retirement plans, paid time off, tuition assistance, and more.
