Job Summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanic A&P to join our team. As a key member of our avionics team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the installation, testing, and repair of avionics and electrical systems on our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the installation, testing, and repair of avionics and electrical systems on our aircraft.
  • Lead and train personnel in avionics and electrical systems installation and testing.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoot and teach troubleshooting processes.
  • Oversee the performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications.
  • Set up and operate necessary test equipment, conduct functional and operational tests.
  • Enforce company safety regulations, FOD program, tool control program, and 5-S program.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience.
  • A & P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems or disciplines.
  • APU run qualification and engine run qualification preferred.
