Emergency Medicine Physician

Sollis Health is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team of medical professionals. As a Concierge Emergency Medicine Physician, you will provide expert, on-demand emergency medical care to our members in a serene and private environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform medical evaluations and formulate treatment plans for urgent and emergent care within the scope of emergency medicine.
- Perform medical procedures, including obtaining IV access, phlebotomy, administering IV medications and IV fluids, and performing EKGs.
- Lead the medical management of patients in our clinics, working closely with a team of PAs, nurses, and technicians to discuss your assessment.
- Assess and treat Covid-related cases, including obtaining clinical samples to test for the virus, performing point-of-care testing, and providing general symptom management and recommendations.
- Document your clinical evaluation and treatment in the electronic health record, Athena Health.
- Work closely with the Medical Director and other clinical team members to ensure all policies are adhered to and that you deliver quality care in an innovative setting.
- Coordinate additional care with our After Care and house calls teams or with one of our Medical Partners.
- Make patients and family members comfortable, patiently and professionally answering any questions they have and using patient-centered empathetic communication at all times.
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
- Physician state license and ability to practice in the state of New York.
- Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency and emergency medicine board certification required.
- 2+ years experience as a physician in the emergency department and/or urgent care center after your residency required.
- DEA license required.
- Strong clinical skills.
- Tech savvy with the ability to use and/or learn our systems, including Slack, Athena Health, Salesforce, and Humanity.
- Superb technical skills, including phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, medication administration.
- Excellent bedside manner.
- Comfortable with emergency department and urgent care patients.
- Ability to be adaptable and work in a fluid, multitasking environment.
- Strong process and organizational skills.
- The ability to problem-solve and think outside of the box.
The compensation for this role is $184-$190 per hour, with the possibility of additional compensation for overtime and bonuses.
