We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at Health Talent Pro. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing athletic training services to our clients, including injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide athletic training services to clients, including injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Work under the supervision of a physician to manage athletic injuries and provide care and prevention services.
- Provide instruction and education to coaches, athletes, parents, and medical personnel on athletic injury prevention and treatment.
- Assist physical therapists and physicians in the flow of patient care, including equipment maintenance, linen changes, and bracing and splinting.
- Market the athletic training program and Health Talent Pro within the school district and medical community through flyers, brochures, and media contacts.
- NYS Registration and License as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
- NATABOC Certification.
- BLS Certification through the RQI system.
- Bachelor's Degree in Sports Medicine or related program.
- 1-2 years experience as an Athletic Trainer in a high school and/or physician practice setting.
- Master's degree in athletic training.
