About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician II to join our team at Canon Solutions America, Inc. This is a customer-facing role that requires technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Your Impact:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with Canon-supported products using established procedures.
  • Service and repair designated equipment to meet Canon standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of multiple product groups, including basic aspects of troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/onsite maintenance.
  • Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
  • Provide direction to less experienced technicians and assist with escalated technical and/or customer service-related problem areas.
About You:

We are looking for a dedicated individual with:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
  • A basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
  • The ability to travel, with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • The capability to work in a 24/7 environment, performing shift work and on-call rotations.
  • Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers' premises.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
