">Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a Nurse Specialist - Hemodialysis to join our team. This role provides direct patient care and coordination of clinically competent care for assigned patients in an entry-level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP).
">About the Role
">This position requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 9 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
">Duties and Responsibilities

- Provides direct patient care and coordinates clinically competent care for assigned patients.">
- Performs ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre-during-post hemodialysis treatment.">
- Administers medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithm(s), and documents appropriate medical justification and effectiveness.">
- Serves as a resource for healthcare team members and participates in staff training and orientation of new staff as assigned.">
- Ensures correct laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures are performed and reschedules missed or insufficient laboratory collections.">
Requirements

- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.">
- Current appropriate state licensure.">
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.">
- Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).">
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.">
