ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated RN to join our team as a Nurse Care Specialist. This full-time position will support a portion of New Castle County, DE and surrounding area.

About the Role

This role requires providing exceptional care to geriatric patients in the community, including giving skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment. The successful candidate will work day shift hours, one weekend a month, 2 holidays a year, and two on-call shifts a month.

The salary for this position is estimated at $83,000 per year, based on industry standards and regional data. However, please note that actual salaries may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Giving skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to geriatric patients in the community.
  • Developing and implementing care plans that are goal-oriented and patient-centered.
  • Collaborating with families and healthcare providers to build a care plan that meets the needs of patients.
Requirements
  • A current DE RN license or compact state license.
  • 1 year of RN experience.
  • Previous Home Healthcare and Med-Surgical experience preferred.
