JOB SUMMARY: This role is essential for collaborating with software developers to test software and hardware products, ensuring they meet customer requirements and use cases. The Software QA Specialist will uphold the company's ethical standards and business practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: To excel in this position, the individual must effectively carry out the following duties:
  • Conduct Agile QA for completed bugs and user stories.
  • Work closely with support and product management to troubleshoot and report customer issues.
  • Engage in Agile sprint planning and execution.
  • Develop and implement test plans based on software acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with project team members to identify and validate customer use cases and environments.
  • Oversee testing of major feature developments, coordinating with junior testers.
  • Assess software and firmware applications for deviations from established test plans.
  • Propose updates and enhancements to existing test plans to maintain accuracy.
  • Set up and monitor long-term and integration tests.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Software QA Specialists.
  • Collaborate with QA management to ensure adherence to SQA best practices in daily operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Familiarity with web applications and related terminology.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, including monitors, keyboards, and printers.
  • Proficient in hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and mobile operating systems.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware components and networking terminology.
  • Familiarity with internet and web applications.
