We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Scientist/Laboratory Associate to join our team at Actalent. As a Research Scientist/Laboratory Associate, you will be responsible for assisting principal investigators with animal studies, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Protocol requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Animal Studies: Perform and assist with animal studies, including dose administration, daily mice weighing, and scoring after dosing completion.
- Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain and archive all study data files, ensure proper record keeping, and perform general lab maintenance.
- Team Collaboration: Assist team members with ongoing studies, learn new in vitro/in vivo models, and conduct them under general supervision.
- Compliance: Understand and follow relevant SOPs and Protocol requirements regarding all laboratory activities assigned or engaged in.
- Education: B.S or B.A in life sciences
- Experience: Experienced with research animal handling (mice, rats, guinea pigs, and rabbits), basic knowledge of laboratory practices and equipment techniques, and prior experience working with MS Package (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
