Job Summary

Chapters Health System is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donor Relations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in supporting our fundraising efforts and ensuring the success of our donor relations program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide research and data entry support for our donor relations program, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
  • Work closely with our development team to identify and cultivate new donor leads, and to develop and implement effective donor engagement strategies.
  • Assist with the processing of donations, including entering and reconciling gifts, and preparing and sending acknowledgement letters and receipts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and families, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the planning and execution of special events and fundraising campaigns, including data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree with a focus on business, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one to three years of experience in a related field, preferably in a non-profit or fundraising environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with donors, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications, with experience working in a Windows-based environment.
