Position Overview

The Travel Rehabilitation Therapist plays a crucial role in delivering specialized massage therapy services to patients across various settings. This position involves evaluating patients of all ages, from infants to adults, who require therapeutic massage due to injury or medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Evaluation: Assess the needs of patients and develop tailored massage therapy programs.
  • Implementation of Therapy: Execute massage therapy sessions that cater to the clinical requirements of patients and their families.
  • Education: Provide informative sessions for family members, hospital personnel, and the community about the benefits and indications of massage therapy.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations and progress throughout the therapy process.
  • Competence: Exhibit proficiency in delivering age-appropriate care and services to a diverse patient demographic.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A minimum of 760 hours of relevant experience.
Additional Information
  • For Advanced Practice Nurse candidates, an I-9 and E-Verify Attestation Form is mandatory.
  • Individuals in positions requiring travel must carry a valid driver's license at all times.
  • It is essential that the "date declared" on the form reflects the candidate's residency start date in the state.
