The Director of Liquidity Pricing and Analytics will oversee a team of 10-20 professionals tasked with essential reporting, analytical insights, and pricing strategies. This is a crucial leadership position within the Liquidity Product Management division and the larger commercial banking sector. The individual will be responsible for managing the commercial bank's deposit interest rates, service fees, and earnings credit rate strategies, coordinating liquidity product positioning, overseeing executive reporting, ensuring product reconciliation, and generating research and insights into client behaviors. Additionally, this role will lead collaborative efforts on budgeting and forecasting.
This position is accountable for formulating and executing key strategies while effectively communicating and collaborating with senior executives and sales leaders throughout the commercial bank. The Director will play a vital role in ensuring that business strategies are successful in enhancing client experiences, driving profitability, and adapting to the competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Liquidity Solutions Leadership Team, Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Regulatory Reporting, and Corporate Treasury to comprehend each department's specific analytical requirements related to liquidity products. Engage with senior leadership across the organization to develop data management strategies that support financial models, analytics, and reporting. Transform complex analyses into clear narratives for leadership and partner teams. Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, prioritizing swift action and ongoing learning.
- Manage the financial reporting, revenue, and reconciliation duties for liquidity solutions products. Work alongside Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Treasury, and Liquidity product teams to enhance balance forecasting methodologies and outcomes. Serve as a subject-matter expert in the company-wide Large Financial Institution (LFI) initiative. Collaborate with Corporate Treasury, Transformation Office, and Liquidity Risk Management on relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Supervise the strategies for interest-bearing deposit rates and non-interest-bearing deposit earnings credits across various products and segments, ensuring alignment with the bank's financial objectives. Coordinate deposit and treasury management service fees for Liquidity Solutions and the broader product organization. Structure data and conduct analyses such as pricing/rate elasticity to support strategic decision-making and build consensus for pricing strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Management Consulting, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 12 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Experience: Over 8 years of combined expertise in Commercial Bank Pricing, Deposit Product Management, Treasury, and FP&A.
- Essential Skills: In-depth knowledge of liquidity risk management, funding strategies, and pricing analytics.
