Job Summary

Corning is seeking an experienced Operations Section Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing direction and leadership to the department, supervising team leaders, and implementing improvements within operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily direction to employees and team leaders using established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
  • Communicate and report operations performance metrics to production teams, plant operations staff, and functional leaders.
  • Perform performance reviews and talent development plans for salaried/indirect labor and hourly/direct labor employees.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor training, qualification, certification, and development programs for new and experienced operators and shift supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High School or equivalent diploma.
  • Considerable leadership experience in functional or project roles.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience.
  • Leadership skills to communicate expectations and hold individuals accountable.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $96,727.00 - $133,000.00.
  • Full-time status with benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
