Reports To: Operations Manager


Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Recycling Maintenance Technician to join our team in Hemlock, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the gas recycling system both on-site and remotely. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor gas recycling equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of gas recycling systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend system life.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors and technical support for advanced troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Collect and analyze data to optimize system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on system operations.
  • Utilize remote monitoring tools to oversee system performance and address issues promptly.
  • Communicate with customer to identify issues, troubleshoot, and coordinate maintenance
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on system performance and maintenance activities.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Participate in training programs to stay current with industry best practices and technological advancements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial operations, preferably in gas processing or gas recycling.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical technical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and data analysis software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Work Requirements

  • Work in an industrial environment with exposure to various gases and equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and at heights.
  • Must be available for on-call support as needed.
