Medical Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Specialist to join our team at UofL Health. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate patient flow and ensure a seamless experience for patients and their families.
- Prepare patients for physician visits, including obtaining vital signs and health history information.
- Assist with clinical duties, such as administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and providing patient education.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in our Electronic Health Record system.
- Work closely with physicians to ensure patient needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Current RN license in the State of Kentucky.
- BLS certification required.
- 2-4 years of clinical experience, preferably in a physician office or hospital setting.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Experience working with a pediatric population.
- Working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Electronic Health Records.
This role will be based in a hospital or clinic environment, with frequent exposure to electricity, hazardous materials, and blood-borne pathogens.
