Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Specialist to join our team at UofL Health. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate patient flow and ensure a positive experience for patients and their families.
  • Prepare patients for physician visits, including obtaining vital signs and health history information.
  • Assist with clinical duties, such as administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and providing patient education.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Work closely with physicians to ensure patient needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Current RN license in the State of Kentucky.
  • BLS certification required.
  • 2-4 years of clinical experience, preferably in a physician office or hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Experience working with a pediatric population.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic health records.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent exposure to electricity, hazardous materials, and blood-borne pathogens. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
