Quality Automation Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Automation Specialist to join our team at PlayOn LLC. As a key member of our software development process, you will ensure the quality and functionality of our products.
Responsibilities include leading automation efforts, orchestrating manual testing needs, and reviewing automated test code. You will also investigate new tools and practices to improve efficiency in automation and test efficiency.
This role requires expertise in writing clean, performant code in GraphQL/REST APIs, as well as experience with performance considerations and best practices. Understanding of API testing principles, including endpoint testing, request and response validation, and handling authentication mechanisms (like OAuth, JWT), is essential.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with lots of technologies, change, and always something new to learn. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly in complex distributed systems, including microservices architecture, are required.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on experience with automated testing tools and coding, as well as 1+ year of experience leveraging AI tools for their own and their organizations' velocity.
Estimated Salary: $163,750 per year based on industry standards and location
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of experience in senior-level position involving cross-functional coordination
- 1+ year of experience leveraging AI tools for their own and their organizations' velocity
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with PHP applications and WordPress websites (plus)
