Role Responsibilities

This position plays a crucial role in assisting the Practice Manager with the strategic planning and effective delivery of patient care services by the clinical support team. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the scheduling and training of clinical support personnel, including the onboarding of new staff.
  • Monitoring staff workflow and providing performance reports.

Leadership Duties

The RN Lead will collaborate with the department manager to:

  • Train and mentor staff members
  • Coordinate and oversee work assignments
  • Address routine workflow inquiries
  • Create and approve staff schedules
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a nursing role within pediatrics or a related field.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with at least 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Kentucky Board of Nursing is mandatory.
  • Experience in coordinating departmental workflows, clinical projects, and team assignments is essential.
