Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and training to junior staff, focusing on technical expertise, project management, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make significant design recommendations and decisions with minimal oversight.
  • Plan and assign design tasks for projects of varying sizes.
  • Review and provide feedback on correspondence prepared by junior engineers.
  • Engage actively in quality control processes for projects.

Technical Path Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives within our Technical Operations Team for diverse projects.
  • Analyze technical challenges and provide advisory support.
  • Conduct project reviews to ensure quality standards are met for complex projects.
  • Offer technical assistance on-site to resolve issues independently.

Project Management Path Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Project Manager for large and intricate projects or multiple smaller assignments.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, assisting in marketing efforts to attract new business.
  • Prepare proposals and participate in client presentations to secure projects.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in the technical aspects of mechanical engineering.
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead team members effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for diverse audiences.
  • Capability to perform final quality checks in your area of expertise.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer license.
  • This position does not offer sponsorship.
