Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of the CNC Maintenance Technician involves diagnosing issues with CNC machinery and ensuring that Planned Maintenance (PM) protocols and equipment repairs are executed safely and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Conduct repairs on CNC machinery, manual machines, and machining centers.


• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain machine tool equipment and control systems.


• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.


• Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documentation, and both internal and vendor resources to investigate machine-related problems.


• Identify necessary parts for replacement and execute those changes as required.


• Perform testing and make adjustments to components as needed.


• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance procedures.


• Respond promptly to machine downtime situations with a sense of urgency.


• Conduct tests and analyze results to provide effective recommendations.


• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:


• High School Diploma; a technical certificate is advantageous.


• At least 5 years of experience in CNC maintenance.


• Capability to work independently without supervision.


• Proficient in understanding both verbal and written instructions.


• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Competent computer skills to operate various software applications, including Excel, Word, and Notes.


• Proven ability to work autonomously.
