About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide high-quality care to residents at Providence Horizon House, an assisted living community in Anchorage. This role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, promoting a high quality of life, and meeting their unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents with medication management, meal preparation, and other daily tasks.
  • Encourage residents to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote physical and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
  • Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver (preferred).
