We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Ancora Home Health & Hospice LLC. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with eating and taking medications
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the care team
  • Assess patient behavior and report any concerns to the care team
  • Support patients with mobility, including transferring to/from bed, wheelchair, etc.
  • Set priorities, coordinate, and organize patient care through effectively managing time, supplies, and resources
  • Maintain patient records as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other members of the patient's care team
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Currently licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Home health and hospice experience as a CNA preferred
  • Ability to utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable automobile
  • Proof of current automobile insurance
  • Criminal background check clearance/fingerprint clearance
  • Current CPR certification
  • Negative TB test
