Maintenance Specialist

BendTec, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in all areas of operation, including forklifts, cranes, and other machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and document findings.
- Repair and replace equipment or fixtures as needed.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
- Work at heights, using ladders, manlifts, scissor lifts, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair equipment or fixtures.
- Advise management on potential equipment hazards.
- Repair or replace equipment or fixtures using hand tools or power tools.
- Assemble, install, test, or maintain equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixtures using hand tools or power tools.
- Construct or fabricate parts using hand tools, according to specifications.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, such as moving or lifting heavy objects.
- Assist and perform other mechanical maintenance duties throughout the facility, including maintaining facility heating and cooling systems and performing minor building repairs.
- Assist and provide support to other maintenance personnel when installing, maintaining, or repairing equipment throughout the facility.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Experience: 0-1 year of Industrial Maintenance
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
- Certifications & Licenses: Valid driver's license
- Other Requirements: Ability to read and understand equipment drawings
