Position Overview:

Your Role:

In this capacity, you will engage in shaping the capacity analysis, data transport, and management of DoD SATCOM systems. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, and developing these systems while integrating advanced technological solutions. This role offers the chance to expand your knowledge in areas such as narrowband and commercial SATCOM, 5G mobile technologies, and international SATCOM coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive systems engineering activities, including technical requirement analysis and implementation strategies.
  • Utilize your knowledge of satellite communications and mobile wireless networks to inform strategic technical recommendations.
  • Produce analytical and engineering documentation, including white papers and trade studies, to support DoD clients.
  • Effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences through various formats.
  • Maintain a Secret clearance to access classified information as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, focusing on technical requirements and solution implementation.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Data Science.
  • Familiarity with satellite communications technologies and government communications systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience with end-to-end satellite communications systems.
  • Experience in digital engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
  • Knowledge of DoD policies related to SATCOM systems and networks.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant technology field.
