Job Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products through comprehensive testing strategies. Your role will include:
- In-depth understanding of product features and their implementations to guarantee thorough test coverage.
- Development of test plans, automated cross-functional tests, bug reporting, and overall assessment of product quality for both existing and new features.
- Collaboration with Product Owners, Engineers, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to uphold product quality.
- Participation in training, coaching, recruitment, and technical interviews, while fostering development within the QA/QC team.
- Execution of manual testing as required by project needs.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- A minimum of 3 years of solid experience in Software Automation Testing, including Web, API, and Microservices.
- Experience in managing and integrating test automation within various stages of a deployment pipeline.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, such as GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle and testing phases.
- Proven ability to create test cases, test plans, and generate test data.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
- Strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional thinking.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Relevant understanding or experience with Big Data technologies and distributed systems.
- Prior experience in a team leadership role is a plus.
