Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for imaging procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities to the radiologist.
  • Ensure that all imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist, or Medical Sonographer.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
