At RAYUS Radiology, we are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Preparation: Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Procedure Explanation: Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
  • Scan Performance: Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts, providing patient support and talking to patients throughout the procedure.
  • Scan Parameter Adjustment: Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed to ensure high-quality images.
  • Record Maintenance: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Department Support: Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual, monitoring medical supply inventory, and training new associates.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: Possess a degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field and be certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Experience: Have experience working in a radiology department and operating MRI scanners.
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication and patient care skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
