About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Firmware Designer to join our Electronic Warfare team at Raytheon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex firmware systems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements analysis and decomposition
  • Sub-system design, modeling, simulation, and design verification test
  • Collaboration with experienced engineers to develop and implement firmware solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital signal processing, FPGA development, and firmware integration
  • Experience with AMD/Xilinx, Intel/Altera, or Microsemi FPGAs
  • Experience with High Level Modeling tools and languages such as SystemVerilog or HDL Coder
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
