Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Vidant Health. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation and educational services in your specialty area to other healthcare providers, patients, and families.

Key Responsibilities:
Functioning as a leader, innovator, and change agent, you will strive to meet the needs of patients, families, and the healthcare system through coordinated efforts with interdisciplinary providers.
Utilizing advanced knowledge and skills, you will influence patient care outcomes through three spheres of impact: patient and family, nurse and nursing practice, and organization and systems.
Advocating for and advancing nursing practice through the application of evidence-based interventions to enhance safe patient care.

Requirements:
Master of Science in Nursing with Clinical Nurse Specialist Concentration is required.
Current certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from a national credentialing body approved by the NC Board of Nursing or upon hiring completed 1 year from the hire date.
More than 4 years as a Registered Nurse required.

Preferred Requirements:
Doctorate of Nursing Practice with CNS concentration preferred.
