Job Title: Night Auditor

As a Night Auditor at Fairfield Inn & Suites Deerfield Beach, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk during the night shift. Your primary responsibility will be to process guest check-ins and check-outs, verify guest identities, and secure payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, verifying guest identities and securing payments
  • Respond to and resolve guest requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Run daily reports to review and communicate with the next shift's staff
  • Complete cashier and closing reports, counting the bank at the end of each shift securely
  • Accept and record wake-up calls, delivering to the right department
  • Maintain confidentiality of all guests and proprietary information
  • Communicate any emergency, lost item, or theft to proper staff and/or authorities
  • Report maintenance problems, accidents, and safety hazards
  • Keep contingency lists in case of emergency and communicate necessary messages
  • Protect company assets and comply with all quality assurance expectations

Requirements:

  • Professional demeanor and warm, welcoming personality
  • Ability to engage easily and actively connect with others
  • Comfortable conversing with individuals from various backgrounds and organizational levels
  • Direct yet tactful and considerate of the audience
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on premises
  • Clean professional appearance

Physical Demands:

  • Standing for long periods of time or entire shifts
  • Reading and visually verifying information in various formats
  • Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance
