About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Seaside Hospital. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the surgical team to optimize positive surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgeon and surgical team during procedures by providing the necessary sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Work closely with all members of the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the CAAHEP or ABHES, or equivalent experience.
  • An active certification by the NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support.
