Job Title: Azure AI/ML Engineer

At Tata Consultancy Services, we are seeking an experienced Azure AI/ML Engineer to join our team. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data infrastructure required for AI projects, integrating with external IT infrastructure/services to provide end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with data scientists to test and scale new algorithms through pilots and later industrialize the solutions at scale to the comprehensive fashion network of customers.
  • Influence, build, and maintain the large-scale data infrastructure required for AI projects, and integrate with external IT infrastructure/services to provide end-to-end solutions.
  • Leverage an understanding of software architecture and software design patterns to write scalable, maintainable, well-designed, and future-proof code.
  • Design, develop, and maintain the framework for analytical pipelines.
  • Develop common components to address pain points in machine learning projects, like model lifecycle management, feature store, and data quality evaluation.
  • Provide input and help implement frameworks and tools to improve data quality.
  • Work in cross-functional agile teams of highly skilled software/machine learning engineers, data scientists, designers, product managers, and others to build the AI ecosystem within customers' organizations.
  • Deliver on time, demonstrating strong commitment to deliver on the team mission and agreed backlog.
Requirements:
  • Ability to transform proof-of-concept machine learning models into scalable solutions.
  • Ability to apply software development best practices into machine learning projects, including unit testing, DevOps integration, release management, test-driven development, etc.
  • Ability to automate development processes of machine learning projects by leveraging state-of-the-art tools and technologies like containers, continuous integration and delivery, orchestration tools, etc.
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud solution, preferably Azure. Able to recommend and select the right services available in the cloud to address technical problems.
  • Good understanding and experience with software design principles and design patterns.
  • Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodology, keeping the team focused on delivering business value.
