Precision Machinist

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Swiss Programmer/Lead to join our team at First Manufacturing LLC in Humboldt, SD. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for programming new parts and optimizing existing programs on Citizen Swiss machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient programming solutions for complex components
• Collaborate with tooling vendors and suppliers to improve processes and specify tooling
• Oversee and mentor other Swiss machinists and operators within the company
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of machine performance, maintenance, and quality control
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste

Requirements:

• Proven experience in CNC Swiss programming and setup with strong understanding of Swiss lathe operations
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with CNC Swiss machines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Compensation and Benefits:

• $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience
