About the Role

The Associate Director, Supply Chain Analytics will play a critical role in establishing analytics capabilities for the Supply Chain organization and providing data science capabilities for the broader GSC-BIA organization. This individual will enable the Supply Chain organization to make informed business decisions using all phases of the analytical cycle (Descriptive, Predictive, and Prescriptive).

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Business Decisions
    • Identify and contextualize critical business issues, working to embed an objective and unbiased point of view into the business conversation.
    • Drive the application of fact-based decision making for key questions within the GPS portfolio enabling priority business choices.
  • Driving Analytics and Capabilities
    • Design, develop, build, implement, and maintain a broad array of business analytics and analytical tools that solve complex problems in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner.
    • Identify new opportunities to further leverage analytics, data, and analytical tools.
  • Strengthening Partnerships
    • Establish a close working partnership and relationship with business stakeholders.
    • Effectively partner and collaborate with other BIA team members to identify and evaluate current and future analytics needs for GPS and to deliver a consistent BIA engagement model with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in supply chain analytics, data science, and data integration. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in operations research, engineering, statistics, or other quantitative area of study with 5-7 years of experience, or a M.S. in operations research, engineering, statistics, or other quantitative area of study with 7-10 years of experience.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing production-ready analytic and data science solutions, as well as experience interacting with management, understanding, anticipating, and fulfilling their insight/analytical information requirements.
