Position Overview


The Customer Service Officer plays a crucial role in managing branch operations, overseeing personnel administration, and ensuring the effective sales and service of banking products. This position is essential for maintaining operational compliance, providing sales support, managing financial reporting, and handling public fund pledging.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

BRANCH OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer needs

Direct and organize the workflow of branch operations

Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, emphasizing quality and customer service

Facilitate timely training and development for staff

Maintain open communication across all branches

Set performance goals, assign responsibilities, and conduct performance evaluations

Review workflow distribution quarterly with department supervisors

PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

Ensure adherence to personnel policies and procedures

Conduct annual and mid-year performance reviews

SALES AND SERVICE OF BANKING PRODUCTS

Possess comprehensive knowledge of banking products to effectively communicate benefits to clients

Ensure that customer service representatives are trained on all products within their first year

Deliver exceptional service to all customers, whether in person or via phone

COMPLIANCE AND REGULATORY OVERSIGHT

Address all audit concerns promptly

Submit all required reports by established deadlines

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

Conduct bi-weekly staff meetings

Complete annual performance reviews

Review performance standards quarterly with staff

Provide scheduling support as needed

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Review all expenses for accuracy and submit documentation promptly

PUBLIC FUND MANAGEMENT

Process releases and pledges within a timely manner

Ensure proper documentation is sent to the relevant departments immediately

FACILITY MANAGEMENT

Maintain relationships with external vendors

Ensure that all facilities are kept to management standards

COMMITTEE INVOLVEMENT

Participate in various committees as required

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
