Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Prepared Foods Dishwasher to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our food preparation areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares to ensure a clean and safe environment for our customers and team members.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area, adhering to our high standards of sanitation and safety.
  • Assist with kitchen deliveries, including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products to ensure efficient and effective inventory management.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and modeling suggestive selling techniques to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product to meet customer demands and drive business results.
  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing, and immediately reporting any safety hazards or violations.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
