Job Overview

Tempco Manufacturing Company, Inc. is a Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota-based custom metal stamping and metal fabrication manufacturer with a strong presence in the USA and abroad. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers, CNC operators, and EDM operators to plan manufacturing methods for tooling.
  • Read and interpret engineering prints and die designs, including understanding tolerance and GD&T.
  • Operate Bridgeport Mill, Surface Grinder, Lathe, Drill Press, and other machinery.
  • Organize and execute tooling assembly, including grinding, polishing, and adjusting components.
  • Head up die tryout at punch press and make required adjustments.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or technical certificate in a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, blueprint reading, and quality inspection experience.
