**Job Summary**
Forge Nano Inc., a leading manufacturer of nano-scale coating equipment, is seeking an experienced Service Department Director to oversee the customer service department and ensure prompt response to support inquiries. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage service department personnel and priorities, spare parts inventory management, and forecasting.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage the customer service department to provide exceptional support to customers and internal stakeholders
* Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
* Oversee the installation, service, modification, and repair of semiconductor and powder Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) equipment
* Coordinate and dispatch personnel for installations and field service visits
* Develop and manage the spare parts inventory system to ensure timely delivery of parts and minimize downtime
* Collaborate with the sales team to identify and convert aftermarket opportunities
* Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the customer service department
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, including direct reports
* Industry relevant field-service and customer service experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
* Ability to travel for field service visits and training
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Excellent customer-facing communication skills
* Experience with inventory management and forecasting
* Strong organizational and leadership skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
**Work Environment**
The Service Department Director will work in a large technical facility, remotely, and at customer locations, often in cleanrooms. The employee will be required to wear all appropriate safety equipment and adhere to corporate and customer safety policies and procedures.

**Compensation**
* Salary, $85-100k depending on experience
